Welcome to Sperrins MTB, the home of Downhill, Freeride, Enduro and Cross Country in Mid Ulster. We are a non-exclusive Mountain Bike "club" based in the Mid Ulster area. Our rides generally use Inniscairn & Davagh forests, both beautiful natural areas on our doorstep.
Mountain Biking is an individual sport which requires endurance, strength and bike-handling skills.
Mountain biking is roughly broken down into five categories: cross country, downhill, Freeride, Dirt Jump and trials/street riding. This site will provide you with information about each and equipment necessary to participate.
Whilst we don't want to be alarmist, MTB riding is dangerous especially Downhill and Freeride due to the high speed involved. With this in mind please read our "Bike & Riding help' sections. This will help you and those around you to avoid unnecessary accident's.
